| Summer Youth Placement Program |
Make a contribution to sponsor a youth of color, ages 15 – 22, to work in their community for 10-weeks. They will be provided with a stipend to work with a Southwest Network affiliated member. This internship will provide a youth with an opportunity to work collectively with other community members and make a difference and to create change. The youth will also be required to participate in a week-long leadership development training institute, the Southwest Network Youth Organizing Training Institute, where they will meet with other youth from the Southwestern, Western United States and Northern Mexico and participate in workshops to develop their community organizing skills.
